Years in the Making
Mitch Greenblatt, co-founder of Xeric and author of Retro Watches: The Modern Collector’s Guide, has spent years captivated by a rare and largely forgotten watch complication from the late 1960s and early 1970s: the double retrograde. This fleeting feature appeared in only a handful of models during that era, making it virtually unattainable for most collectors today.

Modified Movement
Driven by a passion for reviving this horological gem, we've spent years overcoming the mechanical challenges that once made this complication impractical at an accessible price. The Timeline Retrograde is powered by the renowned Miyota 9015 movement with a customized retrograde complication.

Attention to Detail
The retrograde complication enables the dial to have a linear time display, with intuitive, easy to read time telling, but completely unique in design. Dimensional dial layers, contrasting textures, and lume-filled applied indices elevates this dial to new heights.

A Joy to Wear
Every 60 minutes the flyback mechanism launches the minute hand back to zero in an instant, in the most dramatic and satisfying way, unlike any other traditional watch. And every 12-hour transition from AM to PM or vice versa, the hour hand does the same.
